Fall 2015 Beauty Trends from New York Bridal Market October 17 2014, 0 Comments
Some amazing bridal gowns from the wedding industry's top designers debuted at New York's 2015 Fall Bridal Market and the beauty looks created to complete the designers' visions were equally stunning. Amongst our favourite bridal hairstyle trends were braided updo's, long flowing locks, side swept waves, and flowers in a variety of creative ways. For bridal makeup trends there was pink-hued pouts, bold red lips, and natural-looking blush on cheeks.

2015 Bridal Beauty Trend #1: Braided Updos
This trend was spotted on models from Sareh Nouri, Honor for Stone Fox Bride, Saja, and Temperley Bridal (to name a few)! Braids are one way to add a little bit of boho ease to your wedding day look. Whether you add them to the side or the back, braids add dimension to your hairstyle and create texture for added interest.
Hair pins are a wonderful complement to a braided updo. If you have larger braids in your hair, we suggest smaller accents. If you have a few smaller braids, you might consider a hair vine.

2015 Bridal Beauty Trend #2: Floral Accents
From crowns, to veils, and tiny wisps of blossoms, flowers adorned the hair at a number of shows, including Marchesa, Reem Acra, and Honor for Stone Fox Bride. Whether they are real or made of fabric, flowers add dimension and softness to a bridal look. Dramatic brides might consider a floral crown, while the understated bride might prefer a more subtle look like that of the Marchesa model above.
A new (and pretty!) trend is to pair fabric flowers of different textures and sizes together to create a more dimensional look. Our brides have been loving the combination of our Iva Hair Clip and Peony Hairpin to create this effect (both shown below).
2015 Bridal Beauty Trend #3: Pink-Hued Lips
It's easy to see why pink tinted lips are so popular, it's a pretty and feminine look! If you looking for a pop of color, but worry that red might be a bit too strong of a statement for you, pink is the perfect alternative. Your makeup artist can help you determine which shade of pink is right for your skin tone. For the DIY makeup brides, Nylon magazine has put together a list of 10 great pink lip shades.
2015 Bridal Beauty Trend #4: Side-Swept Hairstyles
We love side-swept hairstyles because it is an elegant and sophisticated way for brides to wear their hair down. One common thing that we hear from brides is that they can't imagine wearing their hair up on their wedding day since they never wear it that way in their day-to-day lives. Whether kept straight or with waves, a side-swept hairstyle allows brides to feel like themselves, and at the same time adds enough glamour to take their look from everyday to extraordinary.
When it comes to accessorizing a side-swept hairstyle, there are a lot of possibilities. Glamorous brides might consider long statement earrings, while brides wearing a headpiece might pair the look with crystal studs.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to hair accessories with a side-swept updo. A small or statement piece can be used to keep the hair to one side, like the Kalmia Comb (above), or the Primrose Hairpin and Acacia Comb (below).
